Who we are

This website is operated by Shujaa.ai, a joint venture between Applify, Inc. and Cloud Shujaa Limited, headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya. We are a data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact: hi@shujaa.ai.

What we collect

When you submit a form on this site we collect the details you provide: name, work email, company, country, your message and, for job applications, your location, role of interest and profile link. We also collect standard server logs and, if you consent, anonymous analytics about how the site is used.

Why we collect it

To respond to your enquiry, to assess job applications, to improve the site, and to comply with legal obligations. The legal basis is your consent (given when you submit a form) and our legitimate interest in running the business.

Where it goes

Form submissions are relayed by our form provider to our mailboxes (sales@shujaa.ai and hr@shujaa.ai) and stored in our customer relationship and recruitment systems. We do not sell personal data. Where data is transferred outside Kenya we use appropriate safeguards consistent with the Data Protection Act 2019 and the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner's guidance.

How long we keep it

Sales enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact. Job applications for up to 12 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, or object to processing, by emailing hi@shujaa.ai. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner of Kenya.

Cookies

This site uses only strictly necessary cookies by default. If analytics are enabled, they are configured to anonymise IP addresses and do not track you across other sites.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page with an updated date.
